Scope Of CCNA In India

Scope of CCNA in India

Share across

Cisco Systems Inc. offers a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), that is an IT course. The CCNA course certification is the initial level or associate level Cisco certification, followed by a professional level certification (CCNP) and an expert level certification (CCIE)

This certification was created to help professionals develop their knowledge and experience in order to effectively navigate the various facets of a network. The CCNA is a networking base course that lays the groundwork for all other Cisco networking courses.

Different CCNA Tracks:

  • CCNA or CCNA R&S
  • CCNA Security
  • CCNA Voice
  • CCNA Data Centre
  • CCNA Service Provider
  • CCNA Service Provider Operations
  • CCNA Video
  • CCNA Wireless
  • CCNA Design

For Cisco aspirants, the CCNA certification has a wide range of applications.

So, let’s talk about the CCNA Course’s Scope in India. It is fair to say that it is growing by the day.

India is one of the countries that is rapidly becoming a global networking center, so the demand for CCNA professionals is expected to rise. Many networking giants such as Cisco, British Telecom, and IBM, to name a few have already entered the Indian market, while others are preparing to do so soon.

There are many work opportunities for CCNA certified and qualified individuals. The reach of the CCNA R&S Course in India is also determined by the CCNA Certification track you choose. Since data protection is the most important concern for any company, the reach of CCNA Security Certification is far broader than that of CCNA R&S. Other CCNA tracks, such as Wireless Cloud and others, do not have much of a following in India. Even if you want to prepare for some Cisco qualification, such as CCNA Security, CCNP R&S, or CCNP Security, you must first study for CCNA R&S.

After completing your CCNA training and qualification, you will be eligible for a variety of positions, some of which are described below:

  • Network Technician
  • Network Support Engineer
  • Helpdesk Engineer
  • Second and first Line Support
  • Service Desk Technician / Engineer

When we compare the CCNA R&S Course to other domains such as Software Engineering or Website Development, we can see that the CCNA R&S Course is superior. For B tech/BCA/MCA students, CCNA is a better career choice because they gain a lot of knowledge and have a direct path to progression.

After CCNA, you will go on to CCNP and then to the COE Course one day. This is how the engineer, who was only a CCNA at the time, was able to progress to CCNP engineer and eventually COE Engineer.

Shoot for CCNA if you want to develop a career in Cisco Networking and have a bright future.
